Custom fiberglass, vinyl liner and shotcrete pools for Indian Land's newer neighborhoods, with grading, drainage and HOA guidelines checked before a design is drawn.
Fiberglass Vinyl Shotcrete
Pools in Indian Land
Finishing the New Backyard.
As a pool builder in Indian Land, SC, we work in one of the fastest growing parts of our service area. New neighborhoods have gone up along the North Carolina line in this corner of Lancaster County, and many homeowners moved in planning to finish the backyard themselves one day. A pool is usually the last big piece of that plan.
Newer construction brings its own considerations. Builder grade lots are not always graded or drained with a pool in mind, and many communities have design guidelines that cover setbacks, fencing and the look of backyard projects. We check both before we design anything, so they shape the plan rather than interrupt the build.
The good news is that a newer lot is often a blank canvas. Custom pools in Indian Land can be laid out exactly the way you want while the yard is still open, whether that is a shotcrete pool with a tanning ledge and an attached spa or a fiberglass pool chosen for a quick build and easy care.

Planning Your Pool
Grading, Drainage and Approvals.
Inground pool installation in Indian Land starts with a visit to your property. We check the grade and drainage, look at access for equipment around the house and fence, and review your neighborhood's guidelines so the design is approvable from the start.
If the lot needs regrading or drainage work to suit a pool, we account for it in the proposal rather than discovering it once excavation begins. Pools in South Carolina generally require a permit and inspections, and many Indian Land communities ask for design approval, so we build those steps into the schedule.
Once construction starts, our crew handles excavation, the pool itself, plumbing, equipment, coping and decking, then finishes with start-up and a walkthrough of how everything works.
What We Build
Pools, Spas and Features.
Every pool type we offer is available in Indian Land, including fiberglass pools, spas, plunge pools for tighter lots, water features and decking. Each pool starts as one of three builds: fiberglass pools, vinyl liner pools or shotcrete pools.

A fiberglass pool is the fastest way to a finished inground pool, because the shell arrives ready and goes in once the ground is dug.

A vinyl liner pool is the most budget flexible way to a full size, custom shaped inground pool.

A shotcrete pool is formed by hand on your property, so its shape, depth and features answer to your yard and nothing else.

A spa adds year round warmth to a backyard, whether it spills into a new pool, stands alone or arrives as a hot tub. We design and install all three around Rock Hill and Charlotte.

Tanning ledges, waterfalls, scuppers, bubblers, LED laminars and lighting turn a pool into the place everyone gathers.

The deck and coping frame the pool and carry every footstep around it, so we design and build them as part of the project.

Aaron was great - very professional and not at all ‘pushy’. He’s an educator not a salesperson. He knows pools and is very easy to talk to and learn from. He listens and guides decisions to best suit your needs and wants. My wife and I were very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish. Quick install of our fiberglass shell. Great communication throughout the process and prompt response to questions we had. Works well with the hardscape contractor and even the local inspector! We highly recommend VR3 Pools.

VR3 Construction was incredibly helpful in steering my project in the right direction! They did an amazing job grading my property, extending my driveway and building a small retaining wall in the corner of my yard. With the right equipment, they got the job done incredibly quickly and with professional results. I look forward to having them assist in a in-ground pool installation in the future. Aaron and Conner were great to work with. They listened to our ideas, made some suggestions and quoted out just what we agreed on. There were no surprises such as "hidden costs" or "misunderstandings" They showed up as planned, worked hard, and completed the job as planned. We are very happy with the outcome and are already looking at another job with VR3.

I reached out to VR3 Construction and Consulting with several unresolved issues from a different company we hired. The considerations were correcting drainage, creating access to our front door and back, along with repairing our driveway. They took time to provide multiple solutions and talked through what would be the best direction for us to go. They arrived on time and completed a large project in just a couple of days. We had received several quotes and I am really glad we went with them. They will be my first call if we need help again in the future because of the fair cost and professional service!

I had a great experience with Aaron and VR3 Contracting. I was looking to put in a small retaining wall and a level travertine patio in for a self contained hot tub I was adding in the pool area of my yard. The area needed to be level and solid to support the tub. After consulting with VR3 we came up with a solution that took care of all my requirements, fit well with the other areas of my yard and didn't break the bank. My main concerns were the contractors attention to detail, communicating during the project, clean up afterwards and ability to make me happy. VR3 satisfied me in all these areas. Will definitely use them again on both large and small projects! They have a lot of knowledge!

Questions
Before You Start.

Do you build pools in Indian Land, SC?
Yes. Indian Land is one of the fastest growing parts of our service area. We build fiberglass, vinyl liner and shotcrete pools here, along with spas, water features and decking, and we work throughout nearby Fort Mill, Lancaster, Waxhaw and Charlotte as well as our home base of Rock Hill.
Does a new construction lot need extra work for a pool?
Sometimes. Builder grade lots are not always finished with a pool in mind, so grading and drainage may need attention. We check both at the site visit so any work is accounted for in the proposal rather than discovered partway through the build, and we design the pool and deck to move water away from the house.
Do Indian Land HOAs affect pool design?
Many newer communities here have design guidelines covering setbacks, fencing and the appearance of backyard projects, and some require approval before construction. We review those requirements during the site visit so the design is approvable before we finalize your quote, rather than revising it later.
How long does a pool take to build in Indian Land?
Fiberglass pools typically move fastest once excavation starts. Shotcrete and vinyl liner builds take longer because of the structure, curing and finish work, and HOA approval, permits and weather all play a part. We give you a realistic timeline specific to your property with your proposal and keep you updated throughout.
