A spa adds year round warmth to a backyard, whether it spills into a new pool, stands alone or arrives as a hot tub. We design and install all three around Rock Hill and Charlotte.

Why a Spa
Warm Water, All Year.
Spa installation in Rock Hill, SC is often the quickest way to get more use from a backyard. A pool is at its best in the warm months, but a heated spa is just as welcome on a cool October evening or a January morning. Hydrotherapy jets ease tired muscles, ergonomic seats hold you comfortably, and lighting turns the spa into a quiet place to end the day.
We build spas in three ways. An attached spa is designed and built with a new pool, often raised slightly so its water spills over the edge into the pool below. A standalone custom spa is built on its own, to the same construction standard as our full pools. A hot tub is a self contained unit we help you choose, place and connect.
Whichever you choose, we plan the plumbing, heating, electrical and finish work directly, so the spa you receive matches what was described at the quote stage rather than a scaled back version of it.

Pool and Spa Combos
Two Waters, One Design.
A pool and spa combo is one of the most requested projects we build. There is real pleasure in stepping out of warm water and straight into a cool pool without leaving your own backyard, and when the two are designed together they look like one piece of architecture rather than two separate purchases.
The key is planning early. A combination shares an equipment pad and, where it makes sense, plumbing, so we lay out the pumps, heater and controls at the design stage to make sure both bodies of water run efficiently for years. Finishes, coping and tile are matched across the pool and spa, and features such as a spillover edge, lighting or a waterfall are built in from the start.
Combos work with our shotcrete pools, where the spa is formed as part of the same structure, and with many fiberglass layouts that are designed with a spa as part of the model. We help you choose the approach that suits your yard and your budget.
Hot Tubs
Platinum Spas Hot Tubs.
For hot tub installation in Rock Hill and the surrounding towns, we work with Platinum Spas, a line built around modern styling and strong hydrotherapy performance. Depending on the model, they offer precisely placed jets that target the back, shoulders, legs and feet, Aristech acrylic shells, Balboa control systems and Platinum Premium Shield insulation for energy efficiency.
Many models add LED interior and exterior lighting, waterfalls, Bluetooth audio, advanced filtration and touchscreen controls, with lounger and traditional seating in sizes for couples, families and entertaining. We help you choose the model that fits your space, your seating needs and the way you like to soak, then prepare the base, power and placement so it looks planned rather than dropped into the yard.
A hot tub pairs well with a new pool or stands on its own as a backyard retreat, and it can be part of a larger project that includes decking and lighting.

Questions
Before You Start.
Can I add a spa to my new pool?
Yes. A spa built with a new pool is one of our most popular projects. With a shotcrete pool, the spa is formed as part of the same structure, often with a spillover edge into the pool. Many fiberglass models are also designed with a spa as part of the layout. We plan the shared equipment and plumbing at the design stage so both run efficiently.
What is a spillover spa?
A spillover spa sits slightly higher than the pool and lets its water flow over a shared edge into the pool below. It adds the sound and look of moving water, ties the two together visually and keeps the water circulating. It is one of the most requested details in a pool and spa combo, and we design its height and edge to suit your layout.
Should I choose a custom spa or a hot tub?
A custom spa is built in place, usually with a pool, and can match its finishes and shape exactly. A hot tub is a self contained unit that is typically quicker to install and can be placed almost anywhere with the right base and power. We talk through both with you, based on your yard, your budget and how often you plan to use it.
Do you install spas without a pool?
Yes. A standalone spa or hot tub is often the simplest way to add relaxation to a backyard without the scope of a full pool project. We build standalone custom spas to the same standard as our pools and install Platinum Spas hot tubs, handling the base, power, plumbing and finish work so the spa looks like it belongs.

Other Ways to Build.
A spa is often one part of a larger project. Explore the pools it pairs with, from fiberglass to fully custom shotcrete. Our custom pools overview explains how we approach every project.

A fiberglass pool is the fastest way to a finished inground pool, because the shell arrives ready and goes in once the ground is dug.

A vinyl liner pool is the most budget flexible way to a full size, custom shaped inground pool.

A shotcrete pool is formed by hand on your property, so its shape, depth and features answer to your yard and nothing else.

Tanning ledges, waterfalls, scuppers, bubblers, LED laminars and lighting turn a pool into the place everyone gathers.

The deck and coping frame the pool and carry every footstep around it, so we design and build them as part of the project.
